Affiliate & Partner Disclosure Statement

When I opened The IStudio^SM in 1995, I committed to only recommending the products and services I had confidence in. I am known for running my business with honesty, integrity, and ethics. (At times to the detriment of my “income potential.”) This is precisely why I have this page here for your review.

My style has never been “hypey-sales-pitchy” to make a buck. I don’t say what you want to hear or what I need to say to get into your pocketbook and earn a small commission here or there.

I will never recommend a product for you to use or check out if I am not confident in its quality and the level of support. Without support, the most incredible product or service is not worth your valuable time.

I do not work for or receive any payments or royalties from WordPress. I am an independent consultant and coach who helps those with WordPress-powered websites be as successful as they choose to be.

Quality and Support are #1

I always have and will continue to personally recommend or endorse only those products or services that I feel are of value to my clients and site visitors. The questions and concerns you have about whom to trust and what companies to spend your hard-earned dollars with are things I know about firsthand. I take this role in your decision-making process very seriously.

I will let you know if I discover a product or service that has helped me with my sites or projects, or those of my diverse client base. I do so by posting on my website or my Recommended WordPress Products and Services page.

I will not create blog posts about products for commercial gain or because some company’s “community outreach” liaison asked for exposure to you here on my site. If I type about a product or service, it is because I am giving my recommendation.

I will also let you know if a product, service, or tool isn’t worth your time or doesn’t live up to its pitch. In the past, this has led to the person or company contacting me to work through concerns that benefit all users.

Endorsing products or services is for your benefit, not mine. I will tell you about great or interesting products and services that I find, regardless of whether or not I receive any compensation.

I write about products I like and trust that offer referral programs. You’ll see my affiliate notice at the bottom of those pages. Sometimes, I may receive a small compensation for referrals—never at any cost to you.
