2016 is proving to be the year of WordPress Theme designs that are simpler while still offering a touch of style. This is due to mobile responsiveness and the vast number of platforms now accessing websites. I’ve watched the selections that clients have been making for their new projects and I thought I would share them with you (and a couple of my favs too)! Of course all our responsive!
StudioPress Clean and Professional
This site is on a StudioPress Premium theme (Agency Pro) on the Genesis Framework. To the right is the Pretty Chic Theme I’m playing with for an eCommerce WordPress Project that I’m developing in my free time.
I depend on the StudioPress code, quality and cutting edge designs that have always been on the leading edge. StudioPress is my first choice when recommending themes to clients as I have 1000% confidence that choosing to work with any of available StudioPress themes is one less thing for site owners to have to worry about.
Besides the above (lots of folks like Agency too) below are three more themes that have been quite popular so far this year. Simple responsive layout with white space that makes your content the focus.
The parallax effects will grab your eye, but it’s the features and flexibility that will move your mind. Altitude Pro is a theme with a purpose, and that purpose to take you and your online business higher."
If you’re building a business around digital goods, you need a theme that will support your efforts. Digital Pro builds trust with a friendly, open feel and clean, easy-to-read typography."
You put a lot of thought and care into the spaces you style … why should your digital presence be any different? With Interior Pro, we’ve taken care of the online staging for you so that you can effortlessly share your creative approach with the world."
All of the above Premium Responsive themes include:
- Color Styles
- Custom Background
- Custom Header
- HTML5 Markup
- Landing Page
- Mobile Responsive
- Theme Customizer
- Theme Options
- Sidebar Layout Options
- Layout Options
Elegant offers various color options for each theme, perpetual updates and solid coding. Great support forums to find the help you may need and a theme dashboard to customize your layout. Check out their shortcode and social media plugins too!
Both of the above Premium WordPress Theme companies offer many more designs than the ones noted above. And there are many other great companies — check out my hand selected favorites to see what is available and what “zings” you.
I’m just sharing what I’ve seen clients gravitating toward and hope this helps you make your decision.
