Questions on Processes, Pricing and Policies

Below are the questions that I get asked quite often as well as the corresponding answers for your reading pleasure.

  • What type of consulting do you offer?

    Basically anything to do with doing business online successfully! I am available to consult, advise and coach new online businesses as well as established programs by offering my over 15 years of proven online knowledge, experience and expertise.

    My main focus is WordPress integration (I no longer entertain static HTML site requests) as WordPress brings the benefits of Web 2.0 to your program and the ability to maintain and grow your site so that you have the best chance for success in the über competitive online environment.

    My 15 years of successful online business experience is at your disposal!

  • What is included in your packages?

    You can view my WordPress setup packages here and my eCom Package here.

    My packages were developed based on what clients have asked for most and outline in detail what features and functionality are included. Adding of content and products is easily accomplished by the site owner through the WordPress or eStore control panel without having to know any code or have any programming skills. Therefore, the addition of your content or products is at additional charge if you prefer to have me to do data entry for you.

    Additional charges can also be incurred by requesting features, functionality or customizing beyond that which is detailed in each package offering. Charges are not incurred without the site owners approval in advance on integration/implementation.

  • How much will my project cost?

    That depends on what package you choose, combined with any additional work you commission me to handle on your behalf. None of my packages include the migration of your current content or products as that is a simple task you can handle yourself and caters to site owners who are on a budget and want to be involved. Both WordPress and my eCom packages are user friendly and allow you to enter your information without having to know any code.

    Depending on your current platform, I will be pleased to offer a quote to migrate your content for you. Being each site is unique with different levels of content and functionality this is addressed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Do you offer WordPress support?

    You bet! You can buy the time you need (1 hour minimum) to accomplish your desire task or resolve any problems you may be having. Check out my WordPress Support page for more info…

  • What is your availability?

    I am kept pretty busy by referrals from my extensive and satisfied client base. However, I am happy to review your needs or project to see if I have the time availability to be of service.

    If my production schedule is satiated for the current month, we can get you on the drawing board for next month. I usually have a couple hours here or there for established site tweaking and assistance. You can complete this form to inquire about your specific project requirements.

  • What are your fees?

    Fees are based on time required to accomplish a task @ $95.00/hour in 10 minute increments and are non-negotiable.

  • How much of a deposit is required?

    Depending on your project’s scope, the appropriate deposit will need to be on account before work will commence. Deposits are outlined below:

    DEPOSITS:

    • New InstanteStore Project: $500 Deposit Required
    • New WordPress CMS Site or Blog Setup: $250 Deposit Required
    • Established Site|Blog Consulting, Maintenance & Tweaking: Minimum One Hour Paid in Advance: $95
    • Business Marketing, Startup, Strategy Consulting & Coaching: Minimum One Hour Paid in Advance: $95
    • All projects quoted in excess of $1,500 require a 50% deposit before your project will be added to my production schedule. Project balance will be due upon completion to client’s satisfaction and before the site will be made live/public.

    Being new client opportunities are limited, your project deposit ensures your placement on my active client list. By putting me on retainer, your account receives priority status. I offer superior personalized support to each of my client’s, therefore, it is critical for time-management purposes and customer service levels that I be able to identify those potential clients who have made a commitment to their project as well as our partnership.

  • What forms of payment do you accept and how do you invoice?
    • Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.
    • Personal or company checks are not accepted.
    • Invoices are sent by e-mail in PDF format on the 1st of every month with your credit card on file being charged the noted amount. Only approved in advance charges will be incurred.
    • Terms are “Due Upon Receipt”.
    • Fees are non-negotiable.

  • How do we begin working on my project?

    After reviewing this page in its entirety, contact me about your project and what you would like to accomplish.

    Once we discuss your project details as well as when and how we are going to proceed, I will forward your login to my Clients Only area so you can review my TOS and get your deposit in place. Once I get your deposit, we can get to work pronto!

  • How long does it take for my project to launch?

    From my side, your project will be ready within 30 days! Delays will only be due to you not providing the information I need to create your project per your guidelines. Once you submit your project deposit, your project’s package balance will be billed out on the subsequent 1st of the month after this 30 day period.

  • Can you help me learn how to setup, use and modify WordPress and it’s features?

    Sure can! You too can have a WordPress Expert on call! I currently work with a diverse group of Web developers who put me on retainer for help and troubleshooting with WordPress knowing I am only a phone call or e-mail away when they need assistance.

    You have to be comfortable with HTML, PHP, CSS and Javascript and of course know WordPress in and out to be able to customize WordPress to your own unique requirements, vision or desires. Until you reach that comfort level, I am here to offer the necessary WordPress Support.

  • What are all the Muse and Coach references about?

    Those smarties who choose to work with me literally have my 15 years of online experience at their disposal. Many comment shortly after we begin working together on how the “muse” tag fits my style and personality in guiding them to feel confident and comfortable with technology.

    I’ll coach you on the issues and specific variables you probably don’t even know you have to consider! You’ll also have the added benefit of having your own personal “Technology Coach” on call in regard to the necessary skill building and knowledge acquisition that separates the winners from the wannabes online.

    I’ve “been there; done that” with most things online and that experience is invaluable in being able to guide you properly right out of the gate. Not only does that save you time; it saves you money!

    Simply review my site! One thing I do not do is hide information from you, sugar-coat issues or cater to all the online hype you’ll find elsewhere. Online business is not for the weak of heart.
