Get On Search Engines by Friday?
We all know about the “sandbox” or waiting period new sites have to deal with to get indexed in the top search engines. Time in the sandbox is debatable and can run anywhere from 3 to 9 months.
I look at the sandbox time as the 3 months for the site owner to get their sea legs, workout any kinks, add new content while allowing time to participate in forums and social media to begin exposing their new site to the online world.
What many forget is the one thing most off-line businesses do the second they open their doors. Press releases! If you want to get your new site, or any new thing “out there” in 48 hours, is that even possible? You bet — and by using one of the oldest tools in the book!
A well crafted press release that is timely and interesting can get picked up by literally 100s of new organizations who then cover your news and in many cases also include a link to your site.
The beauty of this approach is that even though numerous sites can pick up on your release, the search engines to not categorize your release as duplicate content — because it is news!
For over a decade I’ve had an account over at PRWeb, whose slogan is “The Online Visibility Company” for good reason, and have had incredible success using their services. Why not setup your own account and see if you can get on Google and Yahoo by Friday?
At your service,
Judith
