Are You a Time Whiner?

We all have only so much time in a day. How we choose to use it can make a huge difference in our business’ success. One of the most often heard excuses I get from clients or those who ask my advice about doing this or that is “I just don’t have the time…” Oh-oh — online is all about spending time — online.

Time is a commodity. I know all about it. I get in early in the morning, no breaks and a half-hour lunch. Before I know it the day is gone. Most times with a “To Do” list not completed. So, I work a couple extra hours (if necessary much longer than that) in the evening after dinner instead of watching some commercial laden T.V. show. And, I work most Saturday mornings (if the weather stinks, I’ll even work until 3-4p). You do what you have to do to reach your goals. You make the time.

If you think about it, how you spend your time is a matter of priorities. If something isn’t important enough, you’ll never have the time. Or you won’t spend the time required to get the desire results. With this interactive technology, why is it so many can’t find the time to actually interact?

Time is a funny thing — it never changes. 24 hours in every single day; 60 minutes to every hour; 60 seconds to every minute. What sets those who succeed online apart from all the wannabes is they actually spend time online!

Reading, learning, writing, experimenting, networking, Blogging, commenting — all things that demand your time if you want to have a healthy online enterprise. Find the time; make the time or it is probably best you get off-line and save yourself some time and money.
