Contrary to popular belief, you cannot just right click and copy anything you see on the Web. To use another person/company/entities work, you need their permission to do so. Preferably in writing!

There are copyright guidelines and laws in place before a “work” can be considered “Public Domain.” Simply being on the Web doesn’t make text, graphics, logos or whatever it is you want to swipe there for the taking.

Before making any assumptions (and you know what happens when you assume) take the time to review this resource so you can be informed and make wise decisions based on the law!

HTH!

At your service,
Judith
